Before the global spotlight hits MetLife for the 2026 World Cup Final, the real heartbeat of America’s soccer mecca will be on full display at the second annual Chopped Cheese Classic. Hosted by NYC Footy, this spectator-friendly, soccer tournament. The 7v7 coed Chopped Cheese Classic features both casual and competitive divisions, where 11-player squads representing their local bodegas battle through a guaranteed four-match group stage and a knockout bracket. The on-pitch action will be immediately followed by a vibrant neighborhood soccer block party celebrating the city’s rising soccer culture and the local corner stores that fuel it.
