As New York City welcomes the FIFA World Cup 2026™, New York City Tourism + Conventions and the five Borough Presidents announced a series of free, community-focused events taking place in all five boroughs throughout the tournament. Supported by NYC Tourism grants made possible through funding allocated by Mayor Mamdani, these events will bring the excitement of the World Cup to neighborhoods across the City. With eight matches including the Final set for New York New Jersey Stadium (MetLife Stadium), New Yorkers and visitors alike are invited to join the global celebration at free events across the City’s parks, beaches, museums, markets, theaters and public spaces.
The City’s five borough presidents—Bronx Borough President Vanessa Gibson, Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso, Manhattan Borough President Brad Hoylman-Sigal, Queens Borough President Donovan Richards, and Staten Island Borough President Vito Fossella—will host events listed below in their boroughs.
THE BRONX
Pride-Themed World Cup Kickoff Event at The Hub
361 East 149th Street | June 11 | 1pm
In partnership with the Third Avenue BID and Destination Tomorrow (The Bronx LGBTQIA+ Center), this Pride-themed food & arts festival launched the series, welcoming visitors to an inclusive, borough-wide celebration.
Summer Concert Series Kickoff at Orchard Beach
Orchard Beach | July 12 | 1pm
Part of the borough’s popular beach summer series each Sunday, the kickoff will include music, food, and local vendors, reflecting the diversity of Bronx communities.
BROOKLYN
Brooklyn Mundial (Greenpoint) at The Post BK
100 Dobbin Street | June 17 | 6:00pm
An immersive indoor soccer experience featuring live match screenings of Panama vs. Ghana and Colombia vs. Uzbekistan, jerseys, netted goals, culturally relevant performances representing the countries playing that evening, halftime entertainment, and light food and drinks. Performances by Los Rakas, Flama, DJ Mista Sinesta, Maraca Bruja and more.
Brooklyn Mundial: Coney Island | USA vs. Australia at Maimonides Park
1904 Surf Avenue | June 19 | 1:30pm
Held on Juneteenth in partnership with the Brooklyn Cyclones, this fan fest will feature a live screening of the USA vs. Australia match and a youth soccer clinic with Brooklyn FC.
Brooklyn Mundial (Bushwick) at El Santo
1053 Flushing Avenue | June 19 | 5:30pm
An indoor/outdoor experience featuring a live match screening of Brazil vs. Haiti, a virtual goalie booth, culturally relevant performances, halftime entertainment, and light food and drinks. Performances by Eli Heffi, DJ De La Cieba, Kaila Bule with a Haitian drumming group, and more.
Brooklyn Mundial (Cypress Hills) at Mr. Fire Bar & Grill
3175 Fulton Street | June 26 | 6PM
A concert-style experience featuring live match screenings of Japan vs. Sweden and Turkey vs. USA, culturally relevant performances, halftime entertainment, and light food and drinks. Performances by DJ Toshi, Rockness Monsta, and more.
Brooklyn Mundial (Borough Hall)
209 Joralemon Street | July 11 | 5pm
This World Cup semifinal watch event will feature a live match screening, community resource tabling, family-friendly activities, and a youth soccer clinic.
MANHATTAN
Colombia vs. Portugal Watch Event at United Palace in Washington Heights
4140 Broadway | June 27 | 7:30pm
Catch the excitement of Colombia vs. Portugal at one of Manhattan’s most iconic cultural institutions featuring a live screening, soccer demonstrations by local youth, a DJ, food and drinks, tabling by local organizations, and other community engagement.
Panama vs. England Watch Event at SummerStage in Central Park

Enjoy the Panama vs England match at Capital One City Parks Foundation SummerStage in Central Park, featuring a live screening, food and drinks, and community engagement from CityParks Play.
QUEENS
Semifinals Match Screenings at Pilot House Bar & Grill in the Rockaways
1-90 Beach 69th Street | July 14-15 | 3pm
A community watch party on the lawn to cheer on the semifinals, with family-friendly games and activities, access to the restaurant, patio and bar for patrons, and more.
Final Screening at Queens Borough Hall in Kew Gardens
July 19 | 1 Claire Shulman Way (120-55 Queens Blvd) | 3:00pm
The Final will be shown on large LED screens with activations, food vendors available for purchase in partnership with the Street Vendor Project and more.

Produced by the Queens Night Market, this series features match screenings on large LED screens with international food vendors and a cash bar. Screenings include:

The afternoon and evening matches will be available for viewing, along with free admission to the gardens.
Final Screening at MoMA PS1, Long Island City

Co-sponsored by LIC Partnership, this World Cup Final screening will take place in the museum’s courtyard coinciding with the opening of a new exhibition at MoMA PS1.
STATEN ISLAND
World Cup Final Viewing at Midland Beach
Father Capodanno Boulevard | July 19 | 3:00pm
Staten Island residents and visitors will enjoy the excitement of a beachfront viewing of the World Cup Final with activities for all ages including children’s rides, food vendors and live entertainment.
