The Times Square Alliance and Countdown Entertainment – the co-organizers of Times Square New Year’s Eve – today announced select musical acts and host details for the upcoming 2024 New Year’s Eve celebration, including performances by acclaimed singer songwriter Paul Anka and multi-platinum hip hop artist Flo Rida.

Anka and Flo Rida will perform for the crowd and be featured on the live commercial-free webcast and TV pool feed, which will also feature exclusive interviews, original content, and hourly countdowns from the center of the Times Square festivities.

Actor and TV personality Jonathan Bennett, star and Executive Producer of the Hallmark Holiday film “The Holiday Sitter,” star of the 2004 film “Mean Girls,” and host of the Food Network’s top-rated “Cake Wars,” “Halloween Wars,” and “Holiday Wars,” will return to the celebration as Times Square New Year’s Eve Host. Bennett will be joined by Jeremy Hassell – an experienced live event and celebrity interview host, most recently with Regal Cinemas, who will serve as co-host. Hassell first joined the Times Square New Year’s Eve celebration in 2016.

The 15th annual webcast will begin with the Ball Raising at 6 p.m. EST. As the event co-hosts, Bennett and Hassell, along with street correspondent Andrea Boehlke, will kick-off the six-hour celebration at 6 p.m. EST when the star of the show, the Times Square Ball, is introduced.

Flo Rida will perform hit songs “My House,” “Low,” “Wild Ones” and “GDFR,” and will debut the world premiere of his new song, “OMG,” performing the highly anticipated single for the first time before its official release in January 2024. He will be joined by Sage the Gemini for the performance of “OMG” and “GDFR.”

Anka will sing his signature hit, “My Way,” with updated lyrics to reflect current themes, and John Lennon’s “Imagine,” a New Year’s Eve tradition, moments before midnight.

The Sino-American Friendship Association (SAFA) will present an energetic colorful Chinese cultural performance “Cheers to 2024 with Harmony Wuliang”, a mix of modern and traditional music and dance to celebrate the Year of the Dragon and begin the festivities leading to the midnight Ball Drop in Times Square.

Just after midnight, the evening will conclude with a surprise video appearance and performance presented by Fontainebleau Las Vegas, the globally anticipated luxury resort and casino set to open on the Las Vegas Strip on Dec. 13, 2023.

At the top of each hour, Bennett will be joined by a special guest who will talk about their New Year’s Eve experience and Confetti Wish for the New Year and lead the revelers in an hourly countdown. Hassell will provide exclusive interviews and share celebratory moments with Bennett and the Times Square revelers from around the world. Throughout the night, Bennett and Hassell will keep the revelers informed about the musical performances and other exciting entertainment in Times Square.

The live webcast video experience is available to embed for digital media outlets, bloggers, social media editors, webmasters, and Facebook users as a source of fun and entertaining content on their own sites customized for their respective communities and networks.
