Extra Trains to Yankee Stadium as Yankees and Red Sox Face Off in the 2026 AL Wild Card Series

Yankee Clipper Trains Operate Directly to the Stadium on All 3 Lines; Hudson, Harlem, and New Haven Lines Feature Additional Trains Before and After Games

NYC Subway Adding Extra 4 and D Trains After Each Game

Fans Can Also Get to the Games via Bus and Paratransit

Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) Metro-North Railroad is operating Yankee Clipper Trains on all three lines and additional trains on the Hudson, Harlem, and New Haven Lines to help fans get to Yankee Stadium for the 2026 American League Wild Card Series to watch the New York Yankees battle their archrivals, the Boston Red Sox. It’s a best-of-three homestand, with games at 8 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. 29-30, and a third game on Thursday evening, Oct. 1, if necessary.

Metro-North’s Yankees-E 153^rd Street station is across the street from Yankee Stadium, just steps from the excitement.

On the Hudson Line, in addition to two Yankee Clipper trains from Croton-Harmon to Yankees-E 153^rd Street station, several trains will make extra stops at the stadium.

On the Harlem Line, a Yankee Clipper one-seat ride Train to the Game departs Southeast at 4:26 p.m., picks up passengers at Brewster, Goldens Bridge, Mount Kisco, Chappaqua, North White Plains, White Plains, Hartsdale, Scarsdale, Crestwood, and Bronxville before arriving at the stadium at 5:49 p.m. 

On the New Haven Line, two Yankee Clipper one-seat ride Trains to the Game depart New Haven at 4:07 p.m. and 4:47 p.m., picking up passengers at West Haven, Milford, Stratford, Bridgeport, Fairfield- Black Rock, Fairfield, Westport, South Norwalk, Darien, Noroton Heights, Stamford, Greenwich, Rye, Larchmont and New Rochelle before arriving at the stadium at 6:08 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. 

Shuttle trains operate each day between Grand Central, Harlem-125^th Street and Yankees-E 153^rd Street. Fans can connect from the Long Island Rail Road trains at Grand Central and from regularly scheduled Harlem and New Haven Line trains at Harlem-125 St for the short trip to the stadium. 

New York City Subway will operate additional 4 and D trains following each game. The added service will supplement regularly scheduled service and provide additional capacity after the final out.

The following New York City bus routes will operate as normal during this week’s series, providing fans with even more transit options to and from Yankee Stadium: the Bx6 and Bx13 on 161 St at River Av, and the Bx1, Bx2, and BxM4 on the Grand Concourse. Eligible customers can also get to Yankee Stadium via paratransit.
