On Saturday, July 4, Macy’s will launch the 50th Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks®. Expanding to the lower East River in the Seaport, the lower Hudson River in collaboration with Jersey City, and the iconic Brooklyn Bridge for the milestone anniversary will create a shared experience that connects more communities than ever.
Macy’s Fireworks will be visible from any area with an unobstructed view of the sky above the lower East River in the Seaport, the lower Hudson River in collaboration with Jersey City, and the iconic Brooklyn Bridge. Prime public viewing will be available at locations in Manhattan and Jersey City, managed by NYPD and JCPD respectively.
Manhattan viewing:
Non-ticketed viewing locations for the public will be available along the FDR in Manhattan. More information about those viewing locations will be released soon.
Public viewing in Brooklyn Bridge Park and designated sections Brooklyn Bridge Park and The Seaport will be accessible only via free tickets issued by the City of New York.

All spectators should note that alcohol, backpacks, blankets, cigarettes, e-cigarettes, drones, duffel bags, large bags, large coolers, large packages, lawn chairs, motorized scooters, umbrellas, and weapons will not be permitted into the public viewing locations for security reasons. Spectators are subject to search, and all viewing locations are subject to change at any time.

The milestone 50th edition of the nation’s largest Independence Day celebration will fire more than 85,000 shells in 30 vibrant colors with awe-inspiring effects, designed in perfect harmony with a state-of-the-art laser show on the Brooklyn Bridge, creating a powerful and unforgettable celebration.
The eye-catching pyrotechnics will be set to a musical score produced and arranged by Grammy and Emmy Award winner Jason Howland,featuring a live performance by NBC’s “The Voice” season 29 winner Alexia Jayy. Inspired by the enduring spirit of America, the 27-minute musical score recreates the quintessential sounds of five decades of American summers, fusing musical standards and hit songs from 1976 and beyond, setting an emotive stage for unprecedented visual delights in the sky.
Before the fireworks light up the sky, a star-studded line up will take the stage on The Rooftop at Pier 17 live from New York City. Hosted by Terry Crews, audiences can tune in to see exhilarating performances by Noah Kahan, Post Malone, Salt-N-Pepa, Bebe Rexha, Shaboozey, and Blake Shelton in advance of Macy’s pyrotechnic celebration.
Viewers nationwide can tune in to “Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks” on NBC or simulcast live on Peacock®from 8-10 p.m. ET/PT, followed by an encore presentation at 10 p.m. on NBC. Additionally, Jessica Carrillo and Carlos Adyan will host Telemundo’s “Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks,” airing from 8-10 p.m. ET/PT.
