Free public events include the return of Sugar Sugar!, the second-annual outdoor performance series, alongside live music, fitness classes, family events, and more.

Two Trees Management announced its summer programming at Domino Park, unveiling a dynamic lineup of free, community-driven events. Building on the success of previous seasons, this year’s expanded offering spans Domino Square, Flex Field, and other waterfront spaces, offering a diverse mix of wellness, cultural, educational, and entertainment experiences for all ages, including the return of Sugar Sugar!, a free outdoor performance series bringing experimental, multidisciplinary work to Domino Square.

Representing a breadth of offerings, this year’s event calendar is organized across these core categories: Movement & Wellness; Music, Dance & Theater; Family & Education; and Movies in the Square. In addition, GrowNYC’s Greenmarket will return to the park on Sundays beginning in June, offering fresh produce, baked goods, and locally sourced products from regional vendors.

Movement & Wellness

The Flex Field will once again serve as a hub for outdoor recreational activities, anchored by the popular Summer Fitness Series, featuring rotating classes from local studios, alongside Sunrise Yoga and Sunday Yoga presented by Farm Rio. New additions to this season’s expanded lineup include Longevity Stick sessions, designed for people of all ages and mobility levels and featuring stretches that improve balance and flexibility, as well as an Intro to Capoeira series, where participants can learn the basics of the Afro-Brazilian martial art that combines fighting techniques with fluid movement and music. Additional offerings include Croquet on the Field, creating opportunities for visitors of all ages and abilities to engage in movement along the waterfront.

Music, Dance & Theater

Music and live performances take center stage in Domino Square with the return of Salsa by the Water and Típico P’al Pueblo, celebrating the Dominican musical tradition. The park will also host Unheard at Domino Park, a summer residency by Brooklyn-based creative incubator Pique-nique, featuring a monthly series of live, improvisational jazz performances. Additional highlights include Sunset Sessions, Buck Wild Line Dancing, and a preview of Don Juan, presented by Molière in the Park.

Sugar Sugar! also returns to Domino Park for its second edition this June, transforming Domino Square’s waterfront amphitheater into a festive open-air stage for free, experimental performances. Running Wednesday and Thursday evenings from June 3 through June 25, the series brings together a dynamic lineup of New York-based artists working across dance, puppetry, theater, performance art, and music, many presenting ambitious, site-responsive works outdoors for the first time. Curated by Alessandra Gómez and Theresa Buchheister, founded by Annabel Thompson and organized by Public Assembly, this year’s lineup builds on the success of its inaugural season, celebrating North Brooklyn’s creative community while offering accessible, multidisciplinary performances in a public setting.

Family & Education

Family-friendly events remain a cornerstone of Domino Park’s summer calendar, with the return of Play in the Square, offering interactive workshops, performances, and activities for children. Visitors can also take part in History Tours and Horticulture Tours led by the park’s team, Meet the Beekeeper sessions, and seasonal events like the Juneberry Festival, which celebrates the park’s unique plant life.

New and returning community-focused initiatives will activate Domino Square throughout the season, including Craft Nights, Dominoes Socials in partnership with Capicu!, and Summer Skate in the Square, which will transform the plaza into a one-night pop-up roller skating rink.

Movies in the Square

The popular Movies in the Square series will return for six evenings throughout the summer with double screenings set against the Manhattan skyline, further cementing Domino Square as a destination for shared cultural experiences. The full lineup will be announced in June.

Situated along the Williamsburg waterfront between One Domino Square and The Refinery at Domino, Domino Park continues to serve as a vibrant public space that brings together residents, workers, and visitors through thoughtfully curated experiences and community engagement. As part of the broader Domino campus, the park plays a central role in Two Trees’ ongoing vision of creating a dynamic, mixed-use neighborhood rooted in culture, connectivity, and public access. Across the park and surrounding campus, retail offerings include beloved pizza spot Stretch Pizza and Michigan favorite Frita Batidos, along with Birdee and Cafe Susanne, with raw bar Bar Susanne opening this month.
