The Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks® Returns to the Brooklyn Bridge and the East River as the Nation’s Largest Independence Day Celebration

The 49^th edition of the Macy’s 4^th of July Fireworks will fire from the iconic Brooklyn Bridge and four barges positioned on the lower East River in the Seaport District, providing miles of prime public viewing

On Friday, July 4, Macy’s will launch the Macy’s 4^th of July Fireworks^® from the iconic Brooklyn Bridge and four surrounding barges in the East River in the Seaport District, painting the New York City skyline with an unforgettable display of light and sound. In its 49^th edition, Macy’s will deliver an unforgettable summer celebration as the largest Independence Day celebration in the nation.

Macy’s 4^th of July Fireworks is an experience conceived, designed and produced by Macy’s as part of a commitment to create immersive and memory-making moments for customers. Since 1976, Macy’s has produced the must-see pyrotechnic display featuring dynamic effects full of light, sound and color, synced to an original curated musical score.

Public viewing will be available from any area with an unobstructed view of the sky above the lower East River with the show launched from the Brooklyn Bridge and four surrounding barges. Additional details on public viewing, as well as a City sponsored lottery for free public viewing tickets will be announced in the coming weeks.

Macy’s 4^th of July Fireworks will celebrate its 50^th anniversary in 2026.
