Jean Ferreira releases second album “New Thing”

City Life Records is proud to announce the release of “New Thing” by Jean Ferreira

The album “New Thing” by Jean Ferreira has 15 original songs and a cover song of “O Mar Serenou” by the incomparable Clara Nunes which was Jean’s Mom Luzinete Ferreira’s (In Memoriam) favorite song. The album mixes Electronic, Pop, House, and Bossa House Music.

“I created, recorded, mixed, mastered, and produced my second album “New Thing” at the City Life Records studio on the Upper West Side, and I had Michael Musto and music engineer Simon Brown collaborations to create “Iconic” (feat. Michael Musto) at Threshold studio in Hells Kitchen. The album cover and photos were made on the Upper West Side and Central Park by JF. It doesn’t get more raw and real than this, I’ve done it all by myself, get this piece of me and take it home. My inspiration to create the album came from my community, my experiences in New York City, and my Brazilian Roots. It took me from January to November 2024 to finish the album and I’m happy that I accomplished what I planned. To be honest I’m relieved that I put the album out with 16 songs, I usually go with the flow in many aspects of my life, but “New Thing” by Jean Ferreira took me a lot of energy and hard work to make, and I’m glad that I made it, I created two albums and a single, totaling 27 songs in two years, and it’s all history now.” – Jean Ferreira

Actor, Artist, Music Producer, and Founder of City Life Org and City Life Records. Jean was born in Brazil, grew up, and is based in Manhattan, he started his Music Career DJing at his 15-year-old party in 1989. After dedicating most of his life as a Professional Bodyboarder he retired from sports, founded his News Outlet City Life Org in March 2020, and founded his Record Label City Life Records in May 2023. Jean released his first original song “Manhattan” (feat.
