Groundswell is hosting two paint days that are open to the public and free (all ages.) Groundswell would love to see you join them during one of these special paint day events and learn more about Groundswell’s work.

Groundswell is a mural organization based in New York. In 1996, a group of Brooklyn artists, educators, and activists founded Groundswell. Groundswell brings together artists, youth, and community organizations using art as a tool for social change. Groundswell aims for a more just and equitable world. Since then, Groundswell has created over 600 murals throughout New York’s five boroughs and has worked with hundreds of students, inspiring the next generation of artists. This summer Groundswell will be bringing a few new murals to their home borough, Brooklyn.
