The acclaimed video work Our Islands 11ยฐ16โ€™58.4โ€ N 123ยฐ45โ€™07.0โ€E by Dutch-Filipino artist Martha Atienza takes the form of a dreamlike underwater rendition of a parade originating from the artistโ€™s native Philippines and illuminates the artistโ€™s acclaimed practice which documents and interrogates pressing issues surrounding both community and the environment.

After drinks and eats inside the Downtown-Bound 1 Train 50th St Subway Station at the See No Evil Pizza, everyone headed over to the Red Steps on Duffy Square for a special viewing experience of Our Islands from 11:57 pm to 12 am, when the Square becomes silent for three minutes.
