It brought tears to my eyes as I walked into the new Stonewall National Monument Visitor Center, a place dedicated to showing the history of the LGBTQIA+ community in New York City. It is a beautiful collection of images, videos, and songs from the people who have long been fighting for our community’s rights. Thanks to all who came before us, it made me feel empowered and motivated to do the same every day of my life.
