50,000 MetroCards will be Available at Stations in Manhattan

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) today announced commemorative MetroCards will be available at certain subway stations in Manhattan as part of a collaboration with Universal Television (UTV) to celebrate the 25th season of “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.”

Featuring a photo of Emmy Award-winning actress and activist Mariska Hargitay in character as Captain Olivia Benson, the longest-running primetime drama character in television history, the MetroCards will be available at five MTA stations in Manhattan beginning at midnight on Friday, April 5.  

Cards will be available only at MetroCard vending machines — which accept credit and debit cards as well as cash — at the following stations:

  • 47-50 Sts-Rockefeller Ctr ​​​​B, D, F, M
  • Times Sq-42 St ​​​​​​​​​N, Q, R, W, S, 1, 2, 3, 7
  • Grand Central-42 St ​​​​​S, 4, 5, 6, 7
  • 34 St-Penn Station ​​​A, C, E
  • 42 St-Port Authority Bus Terminal ​​​A, C, E
