Free Art Exhibit Showcases Personal Memories Formed at Parks

NYC Parks employees submitted snapshots of significant moments like weddings, family gatherings, and more 

NYC Parks is pleased to present One Leaf, One Community: Memories in Our Parks, a photographic exhibition highlighting the power of shared experience in community building. Parks employees spend their workdays caring for the city’s greenspaces, but our parks also host some of their most cherished personal experiences.  

At this exhibition, visitors will find snapshots, submitted by Parks employees, showing engagements and weddings, childhood memories, gatherings with friends and family, and other personal moments.  

The exhibit has been designed to expand as it progresses, and the public will be invited to join the Parks family to add their own photographs during scheduled gallery events. 

This exhibition is FREE and open to the public. For more information, visit nyc.gov/parks/art.    

A free opening reception will be held on Wednesday, March 27, from 6 to 8 p.m.
