ROOF at Park South has recently opened for the season and will host a Derby Soirée this SaturdayMay 6th, to celebrate the Kentucky Derby in style. 

This event will be a partnership between the rooftop, Woodford Reserve Bourbon, and Herradura Tequila, providing guests with a selection of delicious beverages, including the classic julep. In addition to the delicious drinks, there will also be Derby-inspired bites and exciting giveaways, including gift cards to Sweetbriar, the sister restaurant. To top it off, the rooftop will host a friendly competition for the best dress outfit, so be ready to wear your best hats and seersucker fits

The event will run from 4 pm to 8 pm, and tickets are available on Resy for $55.

ROOF at Park South will play host to an array of creative and unique programming events expertly curated by Operators TH/RST Group throughout the spring and summer months.

Ivan Papic blends innovative and classic drinks using seasonal bounty from the farmer’s market like Fuego, a spicy twist on the Paloma made with Casamigos Blanco, lime and grapefruit juice, Bitter Companion Spicy Bitters, Fever Tree Pink Grapefruit Soda, and tajin, Negroni Sbagliato that substitutes gin for sparkling wine, Pimm’s Cup, and Lavender Honey, a twist on the Bee’s Knees cocktail made with Gray Whale Gin, honey lavender syrup, and lemon juice. ROOF has become known for their unique Frozen Cocktail Program that features options like Frozé and Spicy Margarita, and vibrant and photo worthy frozen drinks like the Passion Fruit Daiquiri, as well as a rotating frozen cocktail that changes monthly.

Chef Bryce Shuman has created an exciting new globally inspired menu of shared plates. Highlights include Octopus Skewers with smoked paprika, sushi rolls from sister restaurant GG Tokyo, as well as Neapolitan-style pizzas, and Fried Chicken Sandos.

The spacious roof deck has high-top tables right by the edge for a bird’s-eye-view of the skyline as well as lounge-y areas that are beautifully decorated like the Umbrella Lounge low-top tables under bright orange umbrellas, the Flower Area the space’s focal point located at the roof’s rear offering great privacy, and Garden that features potted plants including sunflowers and a colorful live wall.

ROOF at Park South is also the ideal location for semi-private and private gatherings, ranging from 15 to 175 guests in vignettes specifically designed for events that maximize the guest experience. They also offer creative, customizable food and beverage offerings for parties of all sizes.
