Summer is all about dusting off the grill and turning up the heat! Kicking off NYC’s favorite time of the year, Heritage Fire, America’s premier live-fire cooking event and chef competition, will be stopping in Brooklyn for one night only on May 21, 2023. We invite you to join us for a delicious afternoon filled with New York’s finest top chefs and flame-grilled flavors at this one-of-a-kind, all-inclusive tasting experience.

WHERE THERE’S SMOKE, THERE’S FIRE…AND FLAVOR!

America’s beloved, live-fire culinary experience is back – and ready to heat things up. Celebrating pasture diversity and family farming, Heritage Fire will be hitting the road with stops including New York, Minneapolis, Napa, Willamette, and Los Angeles this year from May to December, featuring an all-star lineup of local chefs and artisans, each grilling globally inspired, heritage-breed proteins al fresco with offerings ranging from beef, pigs, lamb, goat and duck, to fish, chicken and heirloom vegetables. After indulging in each dish, attendees will vote for the ‘Best Bite of the Day’ resulting in one chef being crowned the Heritage Hero of their city. Produced and owned by nationally acclaimed event/marketing consulting agency, a21, the event’s ultimate aim is to educate consumers and create an experience that guests can sink their teeth into: honest food from real farmers.

“We couldn’t be more excited to kick off Heritage Fire this year. It’s a celebration of not only the incredible flavors of flame-forward cooking but also the rich traditions and history behind it,” says Brett Friedman, CEO of a21. “As someone deeply passionate about culinary heritage, it’s an honor to gather with such talented chefs and showcase the best of what this time-honored technique has to offer. Let’s fire it up!”
