Officially open to the public on April 14th, the 550 square foot location which was previously a laundromat, is located at62 Bedford St. in New York’s West Village neighborhood. 

Bedford Studio has been completely transformed into a cozy haven for those looking to catch up with friends or start their day. Roughly the size of a studio apartment to give you that real “WFH” feel, those looking to work from the space can choose to become a monthly member or buy a WiFi day pass. The boutique coffee shop supports local favorites such as Balthazar for pastries and Brooklyn-based roaster Parlor Coffee. On the menu you’ll find all the favorites such as cappuccinos, cold brew, matcha and chai lattes.

“The idea behind Bedford Studio is to create an elegant, welcoming coffee shop for all to come to, while expanding a membership community with the goal to be productive and meet new people. We’re exclusively inclusive, meaning as we grow, we’ll continue to tailor our program to our members – providing them with events and experiences that match what they’re looking for. The purpose of Bedford Studio was to provide a relaxing environment to get things done, and meet new people,” Lawrence Helfant, Owner. 

While the coffee shop is open to the public, Bedford Studio’s membership program provides a myriad of perks for those looking to expand their network and create a deeper sense of community. Memberships start at $30/month or $300/year. The membership includes:

  • A free coffee each month
  • Unlimited access to the sophisticated space in the West Village, including access to WiFi 
  • (WiFi day passes are available for $10/day).
  • Invitations to exclusive member events hosted by Bedford Studio. 
  • Discounts on all products including merch, drinks, food, etc.
