Nurture your budding romance in the great outdoors
Spring isn’t quite in the air yet – but love is! Today, NYC Parks announced a variety of ways for New Yorkers to engage with their City parks on Valentine’s Day. Find new ideas on celebrating Valentine’s Day with events, activities, and more in some of New York City’s loveliest settings.
FAVORITE SPOTS:
Keep warm in NYC’s parks this Valentine’s Day by cuddling up with your sweetheart in some of our favorite romantic spots.
The benches on The Mall at Central Park or next to Gracie Mansion in Carl Schurz Park in Manhattan are the perfect place to sit and enjoy each other’s company.
Have a dinner reservation? Set the tone by watching the sun set over Manhattan at Brooklyn Bridge Park in Brooklyn, or the Palisades at Wave Hill in the Bronx.
Trying to channel your inner Elizabeth Bennett and Mr. Darcy? The Victorian Garden at the Alice Austen House in Staten Island will transport you to a spot where you can tell someone how ardently you admire them.
If you’re looking for a place to pop the question, the gazebo at Baisley Pond Park in Queens or the waterfall at Bronx Park provide the perfect backdrop.
