Are you familiar with Piggyback by Pig & Khao? Located in the Penn District, Top Chef Leah Cohen and her team have done it again.

The pan-Asian gastropub is pulling inspiration from all over the continent like Lumpia Shanghai from the Philippines, Fried Pho from Vietnam, Malaysian Fried Chicken and adding NYC flare with popular dishes such as Korean Honey Butter Wings. Even the cocktail program fits the regions flavors with drinks like the Bars For Days with pisco, tequila, chartreuse, lime and gochujang.

And for those looking for a diverse event space in NYC, Piggyback offers intimate dinners to large-scale events in its Wayback Bar. Suitable for up to 225 people, the space has a variety of capabilities from business meetings and seminars to launch events and office parties.

After 10 years of success with Pig & Khao, the Southeast Asian LES staple, Cohen set out to create a new concept with a wider scale of representation that recreated the exciting experience of Asian night markets. From intimate date night or drinks with friends after MSG events, to private parties in their lively event space, Piggyback is the restaurant for it all.
