What: The 2022 Guggenheim Young Collectors Party returns to the museum’s iconic Frank Lloyd Wright–designed rotunda after a two-year hiatus. Featuring a transcending live performance from Perfume Genius, a DJ set by TT Britt and MC Maya Margarita as your guide through the night, the 2022 YCC Party boasts atmospheric club designs by Jacolby Satterwhite and Tourmaline, two artists thinking beyond the tangible aspects of space, blurring the distinctions between media and genre.
The one-night only collaboration will begin with a seated dinner in The Wright for the Young Collectors Council and event cochairs, host committee members, and artists whose work is represented in the Guggenheim collection through acquisitions of the YCC Art Fund. After dinner, guests will enjoy DJ sets, an open bar, live music and more. Funds raised from the evening will benefit the Solomon R. About the YCC
The Young Collectors Council (YCC) is a dynamic group of young professionals ages 21–40 who seek to further their understanding of contemporary art through a dedicated calendar of curator-led programs and special events such as curator-led tours, artist interactions, private collection visits, and more. Members convene for the unique opportunity to participate in a bi-annual meeting to further the YCC’s mission of acquiring emerging, contemporary art for the museum’s permanent collection and supporting our groundbreaking exhibitions and education initiatives.
