The US Open of Surfing Huntington Beach presented by Shiseido, opening stop of the World Surf League (WSL) Challenger Series (CS) event, is back ON. Continued three-to-four foot sets pulse into Huntington Beach Pier’s southside lineup for women’s Quarterfinals action followed by men’s Round 4 to determine their respective finals day draws. 

Two-time Pro Junior victor, Team USA Olympian, Caroline Marks looks for her first major US Open win but has to overcome emerging talent Gabriela Bryan (HAW) in Quarterfinal Heat 1. 

Quarterfinal Heat 2 features San Clemente, California, upstart Sawyer Lindblad will square off against an in-form, former Championship Tour (CT) competitor, Coco Ho (HAW) followed by Japan’s Sara Wakita taking on phenom Caitlin Simmers (USA) in Heat 3. 

Wrapping up Quarterfinal action, two-time US Open victor Courtney Conlogue (USA) looks to bring her home crowd a historic third title but has to deal with rising star Bettylou Sakura Johnson (USA). 

Men’s one-on-one duals start today in their Round 4 beginning with Encinitas, California’s, Jake Marshall takes on event threat Shun Murakami (JPN). 

A clash of world-class surfers between CT star Kolohe Andino (USA) taking on The Ultimate Surfer winner Ezekiel Lau (HAW) highlights Round 4 Heat 3.

Hometown hero Kanoa Igarashi (JPN) takes to the lineup to close Round 4 action against fellow Californian Kade Matson as Igarashi searches for a third US Open victory.
