Jump start your spring semester by joining us for this free preview of our virtual field trips for students in grades K-12 and be eligible to win a free virtual field trip for your class!
Hear from Museum educators about our tips and tricks for engaging students online, get a sneak peek of our upcoming virtual student programs, and enjoy informal conversations with fellow educators.
Drop into this hour-long program to hear about our available virtual field trips, which draw upon the Museum’s groundbreaking exhibitions and teaching expertise. Topics include:
- City as Canvas: Graffiti Art in NYC
- Women’s Suffrage and Voting Rights Now
- Getting Around: Transportation in New York Then and Now (for young learners)
- Activist New York, which includes materials on youth action in the civil rights movement, health activism and the Young Lords, and the current Movement for Black Lives
Plus! All educators who register and attend this program are eligible to win 1 free field trip for their class during the spring 2021 semester! Educators who attend the program can submit their names for our drawing at the end of the night.
Virtual Field Trip Details:
- Virtual field trips are available Monday through Friday starting at 9:30am, 11:00am, and 1:00pm.
- Programs can be 45 or 60 minutes long and are led by experienced Museum educators via Zoom. We will aim to accommodate other platforms if requested.
- Each program costs $120 and can accommodate a maximum of 35 student participants. Other rates for larger groups of students are available. Family members and caregivers are welcome to assist students from the same Zoom accounts.
