WHAT:
The Academy Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting is an international screenwriting competition established to identify and encourage talented new screenwriters. Each of the winners receives a $35,000 prize and will complete a feature-length screenplay within their fellowship year.
Actors Stephanie Beatriz, Michael Peña, Lou Diamond Phillips and Taylor Russell will appear in a table reading of selected scenes from the five winning scripts. The program, which will be available to stream online, is directed by 2011 Nicholl fellows Burlee and Abel Vang and hosted by Aldis Hodge.
