PLANT A SEED
OUR WORLDWIDE COMMUNITY

New York City is alive. New York is resilient, flexible, and energetic because of its people and communities. At a time when our theaters are dark and resources are limited, our Public Works team created an original documentary, UNDER THE GREENWOOD TREE; the students in Hunts Point Children’s Shakespeare Ensemble pivoted to assemble an online version of MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING performed from their homes; and our Mobile Unit team created a brand new program called MOBILE IN CORRECTIONS, bringing education and engagement to correctional facilities in New York.

The Public is planting a seed in honor of our incredibly resilient communities. Over the past year, their work has brought forth joy, hope, and the promise of a better tomorrow. Now, The Public needs you so our programs can continue to evolve and serve our communities.

Join us by making a gift of $5 today and The LuEsther T. Mertz Charitable Trust will match your gift, doubling your impact. Together, we will continue to show up for New York City.

The Public is planting a seed of resilience. Today, we ask you. What do you plant a seed of?
