Lorenzo Bertelli, Prada Group’s Head of Marketing & CSR, was one of the speakers of the nineteenth edition of the Osservatorio Altagamma, an annual conference that looks at the luxury market’s trends and analysis through a study in collaboration with Bain & Company, the world’s leading consulting company. In addition to Lorenzo Bertelli, the luxury sector’s panel had the following speakers for each different sector category: Bob Kunze-Concewitz, CEO of Campari for Food & Beverage, Gabriele Del Torchio, CEO of Design Holding for Design, and Alberto Galassi CEO of Ferretti Group for Nautical.
During his speech, Lorenzo commented on the current and future markets, dedicating a specific focus to sustainability, which he defined as “a value intrinsic to Prada’s DNA, not one that is acquired over time, but one which strengthens itself every day.” He added: “We are committed to ensuring sustainability is grounded within our corporate culture and, at the same time, to offering the consumer the opportunity to reflect on this and on the changes that surround us.” Finally, on digital he commented: “Digital is now fundamental – it helps us to tell the complexity of the time we live in. There are no precise rules: every distribution choice must be integrated with the overall strategy, in a balance between direct, indirect and retail e-commerce.”
