Four Digital Premieres on November 1, 8, 15, and 22, at 7:30 pm ET
Four new commissions developed during Works & Process bubble residencies in the rural Hudson Valley culminated in site-specific performances at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. With filming by Nic Petry of Dancing Camera, Works & Process at the Guggenheim and Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts are pleased to present these four digital premieres.
Spanning multiple traditions and styles—from Afrik, ballroom, body percussion, club-life, street, and tap dance to beatbox, vogue, and underground house dance and music—these performances lift underrepresented voices, performing arts cultures, and producers. While few are able to safely gather in person, these programs provide a glimpse of a potent future in which stewardship is channeled toward artist-driven projects, shaping a more inclusive and representative world.
November 1, 7:30 pm – The Missing Element with Chris Celiz and Anthony Rodriguez “Invertebrate”
November 8, 7:30 pm – Music from the Sole with Gregory Richardson and Leonardo Sandoval
November 15, 7:30 pm – Ephrat Asherie Dance
November 22, 7:30 pm – Les Ballet Afrik with Omari Wiles
When it is safe for artists and audiences, live performances will premiere at Works & Process at the Guggenheim.

Before entering the Works & Process bubble residencies for two weeks, all performers self-isolated and tested negative on two rapid COVID-19 tests. On the last day of their residency, and before exiting the bubble, they performed on Lincoln Center’s campus, following COVID-19 safety protocols and with medical counsel.
