Church’s is unveiling its new S/S 2021 men’s and women’s collection through “Dear Thomas…”, a short film loosely inspired by the mood and style of “The Talented Mr Ripley”. The unmistakably Mediterranean setting provokes a nostalgic feeling of past summers, in sharp contrast with the modern silhouettes of the characters and their footwear. The new Church’s Spring/Summer 2021 collection is characterized by a design and contemporary look, featuring models and forms inspired by designs from the brand’s archives reworked in a modern guise: sneakers and shoes with ultra-light soles, the new Fairstead model – characterised by a striking square toe, which takes inspiration from the brand’s 1970s footwear – while the new Farsley loafer is the epitome of summer style.
The women’s collection revisits the trademark British style with a contemporary makeover: the new Gaia shoes and the Kelsey cross-strap sandals have substantial yet simultaneously lightweight soles, whilst the Dee Dee slide sandal has evolved into a heeled version.
The Church’s Spring/Summer 2021 collection will be available in stores and online at www.church-footwear.com from February 2021.
