Fidelity Investments shares new research on how parents’ college savings habits are changing due to the pandemic. While COVID-19 and market volatility have added stress to the savings process, there is good news: 77% of parents are staying the course, either by contributing the same amount or more to their child’s college savings this year. The study also asked parents what type of learning (virtual, in-person, or hybrid) they anticipate for this fall and beyond, finding 16% of parents are unsure what the fall will bring.
