City Life Records is proud to announce the release date for Jean Ferreira’s second career album “New Thing” by Jean Ferreira, which will be on December 1st, 2024.
“New Thing” by Jean Ferreira’s album has 16 songs including a cover song of “O Mar Serenou” by Clara Nunes which was Jean’s Mom Luzinete Ferreira’s (In Memoriam) favorite song. The album is a mix of House, Electronic, Pop, and Bossa House Music(a Genre created by Jean Ferreira in 2024 mixing Bossa Nova with House Music), according to Jean his inspiration to make the album came from his community, his daily life in New York City, his Brazilian Roots, and his recent inclusion on the Recording Academy ballot for consideration for a 67th GRAMMY nomination for his first album “House of Jean”, he didn’t get the nomination but the whole experience lightened a fire inside him motivating him to create better and better music from now on.

About Jean Ferreira
Actor, Artist, Music Producer, and Founder of City Life Org and City Life Records. Jean was born in Brazil, grew up, and is based in Manhattan, he started his Music Career DJing at his 15-year-old party in 1989. After dedicating most of his life as a Professional Bodyboarder he retired from sports, founded his News Outlet City Life Org in March 2020, and founded his Record Label City Life Records in May 2023. Jean released his first original song “Manhattan” (feat. Jean Ferreira) in collaboration with City Life Org on May 2023 and released his first album “House of Jean” featuring 10 original songs on December 2023.
