The Shops at Columbus Circle kicks off its twentieth holiday season this November with exciting new installations, events, and programming for all. On November 18th, the twinkling “Holiday Under The Stars” expanded décor program will reveal 300,000 shimmering lights, 44 new stars, and over 3,000 feet of sparkling garland illuminating the entire center. Festive activities and events will take place throughout the holiday season in partnership with the best and brightest of New York City, including free live Broadway performances and children’s programming, a gingerbread village and workshops from the Guinness World Record title holder, holiday shopping and dining offers, and much more.

New “Holiday Under The Stars” Launch – As The Shops at Columbus Circle celebrates 20 years as one of New York City’s most iconic culinary, shopping, and cultural destinations – a brand new, glimmering “Holiday Under The Stars” installation will be revealed November 18th, brimming with 300,000 twinkling lights and illuminated stars that transform the property into a kaleidoscope of colors. Glowing, color-changing stars will dance to choreographed light shows every 30 minutes from 5 PM to midnight daily in the Great Room, with shimmering garland. Additionally, hanging stars at the 58th and 60th Street entrances and brilliant photo moments are situated throughout the center.
Gingerbread Lane Exhibition & Workshop – Experience the sweetness of this larger-than-life gingerbread village, expertly crafted by Plaza Hotel chef alum, Jon Lovitch, using thousands of pounds of icing and hundreds of pounds of gingerbread starting November 19th. Visitors can expect to be wowed by the scale and detail of each New York City-inspired creation handcrafted by the Guinness World Record title holder for the largest edible gingerbread village. In addition to admiring these festive works, guests have the opportunity to join Chef Lovitch for ticketed gingerbread-making classes throughout the season to create a masterpiece of their own. Broadway Under The Stars – Enjoy live Broadway performances amidst a stunning display of dazzling stars and festive décor on Thursdays, November 21st, December 5th, 12th, and 19th from 5-6 PM on the 2nd Floor Stage. Guests will experience free, intimate musical acts from renowned shows, as well as exclusive Q&As with cast members by Broadway alum, George Psomas. This family-friendly tradition blends the magic of Broadway with holiday cheer in the heart of Manhattan. Past shows include Chicago, Moulin Rouge! Broadway Under The Stars – Bohemian Winter Rendezvous – Celebrate the holiday spirit with glitz, grandeur, and glory with Moulin Rouge! The Musical, the spectacular 10-time Tony Award® Best Musical. This free and open-to-the-public event will feature feel-good charity donation opportunities with SAGE, surprises and delights, performances, raffles, and more to ring in the season, December 4th from 4-7 PM on the 2nd Floor Stage.
Jazz at Lincoln Center’s WeBop Holiday Jazz Jam – Families are invited to join WeBop, Jazz at Lincoln Center’s award-winning early childhood education program, for interactive, holiday-themed live jazz performances. These festive and free shows invite young music lovers and their caregivers to swing and sing along with talented musicians right in The Shops during this engaging learning experience. Shows will take place on the 2nd Floor Stage December 13th & 17th at 3 PM and December 18th & 20th at 11 AM.
