25 years ago this Summer, tennis superstar Andre Agassi captured the second of his two U.S. Open championships, defeating Todd Martin in a five-set thriller. Now, fans of the eight-time Grand Slam singles champion will have the chance to see the iconic Agassi up close, as he’ll once again showcase his talents in the Big Apple – this time in the world of pickleball.
On Monday evening August 19, New York City’s most iconic pickleball destination, Life Time PENN 1 (235 West 33rd Street), will host Agassi and a number of world-class pickleball players for a fun evening of exhibition play. Check out the very best in the sport of pickleball in action at one of Life Time’s seven Manhattan-based athletic country clubs.
