Registration is done by lottery and open from Friday, March 1 – Saturday, March 23, 2024

The NYC Parks Summer Day Camp program is an exciting chance for children ages 6 to 13 to have a fun-filled summer! Campers engage in sports, fitness, and outdoor adventures while taking part in many of New York City’s rich cultural and educational opportunities.
NYC Parks Summer Day Camp Activities include:
- Cultural and educational trips, and nature exploration with the Urban Park Rangers
- arts and crafts
- field games
- sports clinics
- computer classes
- STEAM programs (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics)
Specific activities, dates, and trip destinations will depend upon the camp location across all the five boroughs.
Parks’ summer camp program is extremely popular, and in order to ensure as many children are accommodated as fairly as possible, registration is conducted through a random lottery.
Following the lottery, you will receive an email by March 25 on whether your child has been selected or waitlisted.
Regular Day Camp:
(9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday – Friday) Cost: $500 per child for seven weeks
Extended Day Camp:
(8 a.m. – 6 p.m., Monday – Friday) Cost: $575 per child for seven weeks
