This monthโ€™s roundup features deeply affordable apartments for older New Yorkers, families, and individualsโ€”with rents that meet New Yorkers where they are

As market-rate rents hit record highs and competition for housing intensifies, many New Yorkers are struggling to find a place to call home that they can afford. Whether trying to stay rooted in the neighborhood they love or looking for a fresh start somewhere new, the path to stable housing can feel out of reach for so many. That is why the NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) is continuing with The Affordable Scoop, a monthly roundup of deeply affordable apartments currently available on NYC Housing Connect.

The Affordable Scoop builds on that momentum, making it even easier for New Yorkers to see whatโ€™s available, where itโ€™s located, and whoโ€™s eligible. Each month, HPD will spotlight deeply affordable homes with key details on rent levels, income bands, and how to applyโ€”so more New Yorkers can find a place to call home.
