The US Open of Surfing Huntington Beach presented by Shiseido, opening stop of the World Surf League (WSL) Challenger Series (CS) event, is back ON. A new two-to-four foot swell greets competitors as women’s Round 3 is set to start with their one-on-one battles before men’s Round 3 features three-man bouts to determine the Round 4 draw.

Quarterfinal spots are on the line for women beginning with Team USA Olympian, Championship Tour (CT) No. 6, Caroline Marks taking on former CT competitor Dimity Stoyle (AUS) in Round 3 Heat 1.

Other notable matchups include former CT competitor Coco Ho (HAW) taking on event standout Sarah Baum (ZAF) in Round 3 Heat 4 before two-time US Open victor Courtney Conlogue (USA) does battle with Challenger Series threat Philippa Anderson (AUS). 

Finally, a next generation bout is set in Round 3 Heat 8 between rising stars Alyssa Spencer (USA) and Bettylou Sakura Johnson (HAW).
